The hotel is well located near the center of Bologna, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice. We came by car, and the hotel arranged for a 1 day traffic zone pass for us - which was good.
Non mi sono piaciuti:
If you come by car, you get caught out by the limited traffic zone. It is not the hotel's fault, but if you follow the sat nav. then you get to a point of no return, and it's too late.
Mi sono piaciuti: We really enjoyed our room and the amenities. Our room had a balcony that we enjoyed wine at each evening. The room came with a bottle of wine and they refilled the water and soda and snacks daily. This was all included. We had a nice space between the sleeping area and bathroom for storage. The air conditioning was terrific and worked very well. Our room was very quiet and we never heard any other guests. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the city center, but it was enjoyable. We would stay here again.
Non mi sono piaciuti: The breakfast was very simple, but it was nice to have. We had the front desk book a taxi for us to the train station as we were leaving very early in the morning. The woman who booked it gave them the correct information, however the taxi tried to take us to the airport instead of the train station. He still charged us extra for his mistake. This was not at all the fault of the hotel, however, maybe this company is not the best taxi service for them to do business with.
Mi sono piaciuti: Our room was a well equipped suite with kitchen and private patio, and they provide a generous and quickly replenished stock of bottled water and fresh fruit too! The breakfast on their upstairs terrace was very nice as well. Hotel has limited checkin times so be aware of that if you are arriving at an odd hour. A little out of the main area in a sort of meh neighborhood for tourists but it’s very quiet and a 15-20 minute walk to the action and 20-25 to the train station. Seemed very friendly for kids and dogs too.
