My friend and I returned to Bologna to spend a long weekend where we were students 20 years earlier. We explained this to the manager in enthusiastic Italian who welcomed us home! This charm extended to the rooms, decor and breakfast. The location is perfect for a stroll around the centre within a stones throw of several bars, ice cream parlours and the local market. We stayed at this hotel from 20-22 January during a recent weekend trip to Bologna. We chose the hotel based on location and it did not disappoint. We were less than 5 minutes from Piazza Majjiore and within a 20 minute walk to anything else that might be of interest to a tourist. We had a superior room on the first floor (room 111, I believe). There was a separate small living room aside from the area with the bed. The room was spotless and very comfortable with lots of light if you open the shutters. As the weather was quite cold outside, we spent a lot of time in the room, which we loved! The hotel itself is very trendy - it has a very stylish lobby and breakfast room. The breakfast was great - lots of food and separated into small portions. The fruit was very fresh with great variety, the pastries were delicious and there was a variety of juices, yogurt, bread, meats, etc. There were even little desserts like macaroons, etc. The breakfast staff was very cheerful and helpful. They even make you lattes or capuccinos at no extra cost (note: you do have to pay extra for the breakfast when you book your room but it is worth it). Overall the staff was very helpful. The gentleman manning the desk on Saturday and Sunday afternoon was really nice - he helped us book a restaurant for dinner and gave us great pointers, like where to catch the bus to the airport (instead of paying for a taxi). The nighttime reception staff was a little less helpful (we asked for assistance in replacing a lightbulb in our bathroom and he did not really want to help so we went without). Overall, a great satay and I would certainly recommend this hotel to others!
This is a very clean hotel, with a very friendly staff, in the middle of everything in Bologna. I don't think we could have picked a better room. When staying here, get dinner at Trattoria Tony, not even a block away, one of the best Italian meals I've ever had.

É semplicemente Perfetto!!! Personale eccellente e cordiale . Situato a metá strada tra la stazione centrale di Bologna e piazza maggiore, raggiungibile a piedi. Camera spaziosa, pulita e silenziosa. Ottima ed abbondante la colazione. Consigliatissimo !!
The hotel was very chic . The two gentlemen that at the reception were very nice and accommodating. Our room was for three people, my daughter had her own little space on the other side of the bathroom, perfect.
No complaints. We very much enjoyed our short stay. Rooms. Good size. Big beds. VERY CLEAN. Lovely bathrooms with funky lights and a lovely tub. Breakfast. Included. Very nice hotel with super location.
Looked for a hotel with a good location with a good price, within walking distance from the train station. The distance is OK if you only have a smaller suitcase. Very central, almost next to the main street. But quiet.Mi sono piaciuti: Location, decoration and the COFFEE MAKER.
