Perfetta la posizione, adorabile lo staff, varia, ricca e salutare la colazione, cura e pulizia delle camere( silenziose e con letti molto comodi) accurata e continua. Visitare Bologna, godendo di questo punto di partenza d'eccellenza è un privilegio.
Mi sono piaciuti: Location was great!
Non mi sono piaciuti: Bed was basic
Mi sono piaciuti: Room, was big bright and comfortable. We had a balcony, not much of a view buy nice to be able to sit out and enjoy a coffee. Very central location, only about five minutes to Piazza Maggiore. Dozens of restaurants, shops etc
Not sure why it's only 3*
Non mi sono piaciuti: Pet hate, hairdryers attached to the wall. This must surely have been something invented by a man who has never had to use one! The added aggravation of having to keep the button pressed while trying to dry your hair and not be able to move is beyond annoying. I guess I understand why as small items like this must be very easy to steal but they are not user friendly and will always lose a mark in my books. It is the only negative I can find to say about this hotel.
Mi sono piaciuti: The staff were lovely - always friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet (almost all cold) was delicious - lots of care went into this.
Non mi sono piaciuti: We booked the hotel particularly because it claimed that its rooms were modern. We certainly saw some that were, but ours was very old-fashioned. We were very disappointed.

Torno all’ hotel Metropolitan, da 3 anni a mio parere è un gioiello incastonato nel centro di Bologna. La struttura è curata con un'attenzione che ti fa sentire a casa. esattamente come appare nelle foto (stanno facendo anche dei lavori di ampliamento). «Small but perfectly formed»
Mi sono piaciuti: Some of the bedrooms have fair-sized terraces, quiet and with roof-top views. This is rare in the centre of Bologna. The staff were all charming and the desk staff very knowledgeable and helpful with recommending and reserving just the kind of restaurants we asked for.
Non mi sono piaciuti: The mini-bar was more stylish than useful (only containing one of anything).
