The location was great, close to the big plaza and a 15 minute walk to the train station. The room was clean, the people in the front desk were very attentive, and the room was clean and beautiful.
Made to feel welcome from arrival, our bags were looked after whilst we toured the town. All receptionists spoke excellent english and always greeted us with a cheerful smile. Breakfast was unexpectedly varied and of high quality. Room was clean although if the room looks out on to the side street it can be noisy from the bistrot below. All major sites in the town were within easy walking distance and hotel able to recommend first rate tratorrias and restaurants for eating, recommend to all friends and would stay again
Had a great stay at the Metropolitan hotel in June. Staff from check in we're efficient,friendly and informative. The location was superb as it was within walking distance of the main tourist sites and easily reached from the station. Breakfast was fresh, had good variety and plentiful. The room was immaculate and well stocked.. We were very happy.
My husband and I went to Bolognia for a romantic holiday and also to explore the pizzerias because we are in that business. We choce Hotel Metropolitan because of the location, the price and the beautiful pictures on the webside. It was much more than we expected. Its perfectly located in the center near the trainstation and shops and restaurants. The staff was very very helpful and did everything to make our stay as good as posible. The breakfast was very good with great coffe and there was always candlelights in the morning. Our room was in the olivegarden and it was beautifuly decorated og there were sunbeds outside the room. The room was always clean and we were never bothered when we were in the room by staff that was cleaning or filling up the minibar or something. Hopefully we are going to visit Metropolitan hotel again someday :)

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We had a very large room with separate sitting room and terrace. The staff are very friendly and helpful: they gave us advice and suggested some really good restaurant options for dinner. Breakfast was great with many options. We were delighted with our four-day stay and grateful for previous TA reviews that led us to this choice. Our room was beautifully decorated in Italian/IKEA modern style. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, excellent wifi and very helpful staff. Bologna's main attractions were all within walking distance. Ditto some of the best eateries and shops. What else can one ask for?...

Very Satisfied Family
The Hotel Metropolitan was a delightful boutique in a perfect location. It is convenient to restaurants and sightseeing. The service was warm and friendly, particularly Sara and Roberto who made us feel like we were at home.
