Breakfast staff excellent and very friendly. Great location near town centre and attractions.
Non mi sono piaciuti:
Rooftop bar/ terrace closed due to weather. Lounge bar at reception could not provide drinks after 9pm. But there was a mini bar in room.
Mi sono piaciuti: Staff was super friendly, and it's located across the street from an amazing local bar. Location is close to the main "attractions" and near many great shops and restaurants. When we checked in they had upgraded us to a garden suite, which was beautiful and serene. Bed was comfortable and there was a nice window out to the street that when opened had a great breeze (this was in October, so not too warm or buggy).
Non mi sono piaciuti: The only two negative things I can think of are:
1. In the garden suites you cannot lock the door from the inside without a key...and there is only one key for the unit. This proved a little complex when my husband wanted to have a nightcap at the bar across the street and work on his book, but I was under the weather and wanted to turn in a little earlier. We solved it by me locking myself in and then tossing the key down to him in the street...but that's probably not the most amazing idea.
2. The shower in the garden suite does not have any wall but a very aggressive stream and only points in one direction. water got absolutely everywhere, including the water closet, the floor in the dressing area, etc.

Non mi sono piaciuti: Lighting in bathroom was strange - it took 10 minutes to work out how to switch off lights, rather than just change their colour! A minor grumble.

Mi sono piaciuti: Lage: Trotz der nahe gelegenen, verkehrsreichen Hauptstrasse in einer verkehrsfreien Gasse ruhig und zentral gelegen. Zimmer: Wir hatten ein großes Deluxe Doppel-/Zweibettzimmer gebucht, mit großem Doppelbett und sehr guter Matratze, mit Möbeln und Kübelpflanzen ausgestatteten Terrasse auf der 4. Etage und zur Gasse hin gelegen. Bad mit bodengleicher Dusche. Bedenken gegen (nächtlichen) Lärm haben sich nicht bestätigt, da die Fenster top lärmschutzmässig ausgebildet sind und im geschlossenen Zustand man absolut nichts hört. Frühstück: Sehr umfangreich und mit vielen, schönen Kleinigkeiten typisch Italienisch büffetmäßig ausgestattet. Sehr guter Kaffee. Ausstattung: Sehr moderne Einrichtung. Ansprechendes, typisch italienisches Ambiente. Aufmerksamer Service. Die 5. Etage bietet eine Bar mit Sitzgelegenheiten und einem schönen Ausblick über die Dächer von Bologna. Restaurant: Sehr zu empfehlen das klassisch-italienisch geführte, stilvoll gepflegte Restaurant "Donatello", 5 Minuten fußläufig vom Hotel entfernt. Auto: Parken 5 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt "Garage Bologna". Für Hotelgäste 15 EUR/Tag.
Non mi sono piaciuti: Leider kein deutsches TV. Unser Zimmerpreis (Deluxe Doppel-/Zweibettzimmer) für diese Unterkunft schien uns für diese Jahreszeit und im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels unserer Norditalienreise (Mailand-Bologna-Padua-Verona) etwas hoch zu sein (Preis/Leistungsverhältnis). Aber trotzdem war alles sehr gut.
