To my surprise, this hotel is a charm!! The lobby is very inviting and the staff is super friendly! The hotel is modern and very cool!! Check in was done in a matter of minutes and the hotel staff helped us to get our luggage to our room. The room is just sweet. The view from our room is beautiful....
Mi sono piaciuti: We had a lovely stay at the Metropolitan (our second time with them). This was made extra special by the hotel (thanks to Anita and Claudio) helping me to arrange a surprise champagne breakfast for my husband's birthday. This was delivered to our room and was beautifully presented and included all his favourites, as discussed. Roberto's help with restaurant recommendations was, again, invaluable. We'll be back next year!
Mi sono piaciuti: Very Friendly, helpful staff. Great central location. We were booked into a `Business-suite´ which has a terrace with a nice view over the rooftops of Bologna. The room was towards the rear of the hotel, which was quiet and had ample space for our family of four. The breakfast, by Italian standards was above average. We will most certainly stay in the Metropolitan the next time we visit Bologna.

Mi sono piaciuti: Great location. Near train station and main tourist areas. Lovely welcome from reception. We were shown to our room which was lovely. Lovely room as described. The wifi was good. There was an exercise bike in the room which was a nice touch. The staff spoke good English. She gave us a map which was useful and the areas for good restaurants.They also arranged a taxi for 2.30am as we had an early morning flight back to the UK. I booked this about a month ago and thought paying full amount meant it was all paid for. On check out I was informed no the payment had been take from the card and that it was pre-authorised only. It meant I had to go through the payment process by debit card again. This needs to be stated more clearly on the booking.com website.
Mi sono piaciuti: Отличный отель, расположен в самом центре, номера с террасами. Всё новое, красивое! Объехали пол мира, и кажется нас уже мало чем можно удивить) До этого останавливались в Болонье в больших сетевых отелях. Небо и земля, теперь только Metropolitan)
Non mi sono piaciuti: у отеля нет своей парковки, так как он находится в зоне trafico limitato, однако это сполна компенсируется огромной парковкой на площади 8 Августа, которая находится в 200 метрах от отеля

Mi sono piaciuti: The room was very modern and fresh. The roof terrace is an oasis The bed was very comfortable The hotel is located very centrally in the city of Bologna. The staff are very friendly and helpful and very very keen to help with advice about the city and its sights.
Non mi sono piaciuti: Wish we could have got on to the roof terrace after 10 pm to see the night cityscape - very very minor thing though
