A warm welcome from all staff who were extremely helpful throughout. Walking distance to historical sites, excellent restaurants, cafes (Bologna being Italy's food capital) and shops. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Short walk to main railway station. 30 minutes by train to Florence. Arrived and explained we were needing a train first thing in the morning and they printed out the train timetable which was very kind! Took our luggage to the room, big room, loads of space. Breakfast was fine, busy but to be honest bologna has so much food to offer, the hotel is fine for a coffee and pastry and then head out! Non mi sono piaciuti: Get rid of the little cut up fruit at breakfast and just provide a fruit bowl![extra]Lovely bars right be to door, perfect for Aperitivo![/extra]

Siamo stati ospiti nel we del 25 Aprile ... tutto ben gestito anche nel momento di massima affluenza alla colazione ... presenti per ogni necessità, persone cortesi pronte a dare indicazioni su piccoli tesori nascosti che Bologna sa offrire. Camera accogliente e tutto pulito ...oltre...Più

Sono appena andata via da quest'hotel che mi ha davvero favorevolmente stupita. Anzitutto accoglienza ottima (ho avuto su richiesta una camera interna molto silenziosa) da parte di tutto lo staff. La camera era ampia "anticipata" da un corridoio in cui sono posizionati lo scrittoio e una sedia. Il letto talmente comodo che ho dormito come a casa. Il televisore è...

Perfect Location, Friendly and Helpful Staff
It was my first visit to Bologna and Hotel Metropolitan. It was chosen because of TripAdvisor reviews and location. We travelled to Verona and Venice so it was really very easy to walk to the train station. I would like to say that I had perfect communication with the hotel prior my arrival, they were all so friendly and helpful...
