It is an easy journey to/from airport, both taxi fares under 20 euros. Hotel is well located with main square etc just a 5 minute stroll away. We asked for, and got, a quiet room. Reasonable size and facilities. Everything worked. Excellent desk folk and always helpful. Good breakfast with marvellous coffee! We had only four days and on that basis I felt one day was about right for Bologna itself especially as we returned each night - decent local restaurants. The train station is 10 - 15 minutes easy stroll away but I would recommend buying tickets night before if possible. We went out on day trips to Ferrara (a pretty small town but maximum one day and with a car then maybe less), to Ravenna (sadly in the rain as though the mosaics are truly wonderful I should have loved to see them sparkling on a sunny day. Admittedly less time available as the train journey was 1hour 20 minutes but I would have been happy to spend a little more time in Ravenna armed now with some knowledge) and then to Verona which we loved. This being a spur of moment trip we had done no research and rather longer time would have been a good idea. Serendipity gave us a memorable, and pretty cheap lunch by the river. The train service is very cheap by English standards, and quite reliable. We paid more to go to Verona to gain the benefit of a non stop train, journey time 50 minutes but still well worth while.Mi sono piaciuti: Good location and room, excellent desk staff, good breakfast with great coffee

Sono ormai quasi due anni che vado settimanalmente in questo albergo per lavoro. Questa lunga frequentazione mi ha dato modo di apprezzare lo stile professionale ma caloroso del personale e in particolare dei proprietari, pronti a suggerire una meta interessante e a fare una prenotazione...Più

Abbiamo prenotato questo hotel per capodanno, senza troppe pretese. Abbiamo fatto un po' di fatica a trovarlo, essendo la nostra prima volta a Bologna non sapevamo bene come orientarci ma, una volta trovato siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi! Avevamo due camere, una doppia e una tripla...Più

Ticks all the boxes for the ideal city break experience. Comfortable rooms. Excellent location. More than adequate breakfast offering.
Special mention to Roberto, for a welcome which was as warm and genuinely friendly as anyone could wish to have; there are quite a few positive comments about him, and they are spot on, because he is a gentleman and a credit to this fine establishment. Thanks also to Michael, for his helpfulness.
Bologna is a beautiful city, up there with the best Italy has to offer. We will be back, and we will look no further than this hotel. Mi sono piaciuti: As above

We arrived at the Hotel after an early flight and were told our room had been flooded so they were going to upgrade us to one of their apartments around the corner. We did not mind at all. Roberto took us round to the apartment...Più

soggiornato qualche tempo fa causa lavoro per nota azienda di abbigliamento con negozio fronte hotel , solo ora posso lasciare una recensione, l'hotel è centralissimo anche se si trova in un vicoletto, struttura accogliente e pulitissima, la camera era spaziosa e confortevole, la persona ( un signore ,non ricordo il nome ) che mi ha accolto all'arrivo è stata gentilissima,...
