Everything about this hotel was good - friendly staff when we arrived and checked out, big room and bathroom, comfy bed, clean, and the hotel close to the main square. Our room was mostly quiet, too, aside from the loud people in the room above.

Questo albergo si trova in un'ottima posizione per visitare a piedi il centro di Bologna. La camera in cui ho alloggiato era spaziosa e molto pulita, tutto il personale ci ha accolto in modo molto cortese. Consigliato.
My friend and I loved staying at the Metropolitan Hotel. Very clean accommodations, and I loved the modern decor in the room and in the public spaces. We enjoyed hanging out in the outdoor courtyard, the great breakfast, and courteous, English-speaking staff. Bologna is definitely a wonderful city for walking, so the location right off Via Indipendenza was perfection. Happy...
I was not informed at time of booking nor at the hotel at check- in that there were additional city taxes applicable to the reservation. Less than 24 hrs after departing the hotel, Roberto from the front desk emailed me to say he would be contacting the police if I did not immediately pay approximately 13 euros in city taxes....

Just upgrading now. Doing a great job so far. Great breakfast which is unusal in Italy. Small rooms but very comfortable. A little noisy with windows open as there are open air bars on the street. We liked the in the loop feel tho. Quiet with windows shut. Staff OK which is good for Italy. Bologna worth a visit but...

L'hotel è in una posizione invidiabile a 10 min a piedi dalla Stazione situato in una piccola e silenziosa via che si affaccia sul Viale Indipendenza . Per una coppia consiglio le camere che si affacciano sulla corte interna e a maggior ragione se siete un gruppo di amici perché vi potete godere la serenità di uno spazio verde interno...
Na het boeken van een superior room, werd bij het aankomen in het hotel een junior suite aangeboden als gratis upgrade. Deze junior suite is echt super, zeker qua prijs/kwaliteit berhouding, en geeft ook uit op een muisstil binnenterras, terwijl je je op enkele passen van het centrum bevindt. Vriendelijke service, uitgebreid ontbijt, super kamer en budgetvriendelijk: top!
