Definitely recommendable.....a little difficult to get close with car.
Request first floor room. There is no lift. Quiet street in awesome location in very walkable old town. Nicely redone small hotel.
Excellent, well priced hotel in the centre of the city. The hotel is situated off one of the main throughfare in the heart of Bologna and is easy to find. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful,as there were throughout our stay. The hotel is very stylish and our room was well decorated and clean with very comfortable beds; the room overlooked a passage where there was a bar and at night it could be noisy, however this did not bother us unduly. Breakfast was buffet style and was well presented with pastries, cereals and fruit. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time in this lovely city. Would I return to the hotel, definately!! Would I return to Bologna, ditto!!!!
It is an easy journey to/from airport, both taxi fares under 20 euros. Hotel is well located with main square etc just a 5 minute stroll away. We asked for, and got, a quiet room. Reasonable size and facilities. Everything worked. Excellent desk folk and always helpful. Good breakfast with marvellous coffee! We had only four days and on that basis I felt one day was about right for Bologna itself especially as we returned each night - decent local restaurants. The train station is 10 - 15 minutes easy stroll away but I would recommend buying tickets night before if possible. We went out on day trips to Ferrara (a pretty small town but maximum one day and with a car then maybe less), to Ravenna (sadly in the rain as though the mosaics are truly wonderful I should have loved to see them sparkling on a sunny day. Admittedly less time available as the train journey was 1hour 20 minutes but I would have been happy to spend a little more time in Ravenna armed now with some knowledge) and then to Verona which we loved. This being a spur of moment trip we had done no research and rather longer time would have been a good idea. Serendipity gave us a memorable, and pretty cheap lunch by the river. The train service is very cheap by English standards, and quite reliable. We paid more to go to Verona to gain the benefit of a non stop train, journey time 50 minutes but still well worth while.Mi sono piaciuti: Good location and room, excellent desk staff, good breakfast with great coffee

Na het boeken van een superior room, werd bij het aankomen in het hotel een junior suite aangeboden als gratis upgrade. Deze junior suite is echt super, zeker qua prijs/kwaliteit berhouding, en geeft ook uit op een muisstil binnenterras, terwijl je je op enkele passen van het centrum bevindt. Vriendelijke service, uitgebreid ontbijt, super kamer en budgetvriendelijk: top!
Perfect stay - friendly and helpful staff, newly renovated room, clean bathroom, good location.
