The hotel is in a great location, close to excellent restaurants and historic sights. It's in a quiet street so street noise is not an issue. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and speak great English! Next time I'll book a garden apartment as the Olive Grove garden is wonderful...a peaceful oasis.

la posizione centralissima, lo staff molto accogliente, in molti casi familiare, rendono questa struttura eccellente, dove poter trascorrere un weekend nel centro di bologna. da non dimenticare l'ambiente pulito e raffinato, con l'arredo curato nei minimi particolari.Da consigliare anche per i viaggi di lavoro....tutto molto bello !!!

Avevamo prenotato una camera e ci hanno offerto un appartamento che era libero subito, al nostro arrivo.
Il personale della struttura è gentilissimo e molto disponibile.
Gli appartamenti sono belli e collocati in una via centralissima e comoda, a pochi passi dall'hotel.Mi sono piaciuti: Struttura di design

Ho prenotato l'albergo per i miei suoceri di passaggio a Bologna, sotto consiglio di amici fidati che per lavoro ci ospitano clienti e sono rimasto molto contento per l'ottima figura che mi hanno fatto fare con i miei parenti. It was a suprise trip for my Husband, the hotel staff were excellent, even before we arrived, there was nothing too little they could do to help. Hotel was modern, clean and very friendly. Price was very good for the standard of hotel, I would definately return if I came back to Bologna.

Hotel in posizione strategica, su via Indipendenza, quindi al centro e non lontano dalla stazione. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, rispetto ad altri alberghi cittadini a tre stelle, questo risulta essere nettamente superiore come arredi e ambiente in generale. We enjoyed it so much, we will be returning at some stage in the future! Bologna city is a must see with culture, fabulous buildings/architecture and GREAT shopping! Not to mention the delicious food... too many good Trattorias, bars and restaurants to list so check them out yourselves.

We stayed at the Hotel Metropolitan for 5 nights in October 2013. It was our first time in Bologna and the hotel proved to be the perfect base for visiting the historic centre. It is in a side street off Via Independenza and is very easy to find since there is a huge neon sign on the corner. There are two bars a few metres from the front door which are good spots for a drink and people-watching before going out for the evening meal.
The hotel is very bright and fresh, perhaps a little clinical, but the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our room (210) was a good size and very comfortable and clean. There was plenty of space for our clothes and other bits and pieces. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Since it had a window that opened there was never any problem with steam and condensation. Despite the proximity of the two local bars and the main street the room was very quiet and our sleep was never disturbed - the room did not look out on the street.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of cheese, meats, pastries and fruit. The breakfast room was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone.
We would recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to stay centrally in Bologna and would certainly stay there again when we return to Bologna which we will have to do since the city has so much to offer the visitor.Mi sono piaciuti: We liked its central location. Non possiamo che spendere parole di elogio per il Metropolitan Hotel di Bologna. Siamo stati accolti in un ambiente pulito e raffinato, arredato con gusto ed ottimamente gestito.
