We hadden een rustige kamer gevraagd maar onze kamer bevond zich aan de voorkant aan een smal straatje.

Relaxed informal atmosphere Helpfulness of staff - try hard to please and ensure a trouble free stay. Good buffet breakfast selection available Rooms are adequate for short stay - clean, with modern fittings.

Mi sono piaciuti: I have stayed there several times over the years, and have always enjoyed the stay.
Non mi sono piaciuti: This is the first time in all of the times I have stayed there that they pre-authorized my credit card when I booked through Booking. I would think after all this time, I wouldn't be a risk to them. I have always paid cash.

The bed was really comfortable, and the room really cozy. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful and really put me at ease, especially when I arrived on foot from a less nice hotel in the middle of a snowstorm. They were very sweet. In the lounge, they make a good espresso too. The location was nice, close to the center of town, but also a little walk away on a quiet side street.
Non mi sono piaciuti:
Some of the rooms you could hear the neighbors if they talked loud or had the TV turned up. The lounge area isn't very big. These weren't major concerns.

A great introduction to Bologna, made easy by this friendly and spotless hotel.
Mi sono piaciuti: Very friendly, helpful and generally cheerful staff. The front desk recommended and reserved local restaurants for us, which were really good. The hotel is hidden away in an older part of the city, very close to the main sights - perfect for strolling around especially in the evening. Hotel's own car parking was about 10 minutes walk away but for old-town Italy, that is not unusual. We had smart city-themed rooms on second floor. Breakfast times suited leisure rather than business, perfect for us.
Non mi sono piaciuti: Not a big deal... for an Italian hotel the in-room coffee was poor! For the price I would expect some sort of simple snack service in the lobby, not an option here.
