Perfectly located, staff couldn't do enough for us

Room could've been a bit bigger but it is Bologna after all. It didn't take away from our experience. We did have a small balcony to sit on, which was a lovely suntrap in the April sunshine.
Mi sono piaciuti: Accueil commercial mais néanmoins sympathique, la propreté et le service des chambres, son emplacement près du centre historique.

Mi sono piaciuti:
We loved the location of this hotel, probably 7 minutes walk, under beautiful arches to the main square. You could also follow the track back to the hotel, to ensure you didn't get lost, as there are so many streets off the main square. We upgraded to one of the gold rooms which was lovely and bright and very clean.
Non mi sono piaciuti:
The only thing we didn't appreciate was to be charged 10 euros for the first drink on the roof garden, we thought that was an unnecessary charge, especially for the other beautiful bars and finest wines in Bologna.

Mi sono piaciuti: Good rooms for the price, the rooftop terrace is great, giving amazing views of bologna.

Mi sono piaciuti: Roof terrace is lovely, nice staff, perfect for city centre, breakfast was varied fruits,veg, cheeses, bakery - and nice coffee! Staff are friendly, welcoming, not intrusive.
Non mi sono piaciuti: Minimum first purchase price on roof terrace could be clearer, although this can be a 'lost in translation' situation. Small detail - Asking for room key every time, on return could be avoided if smaller key tags were available.
