We had a great three night stay in Bologna and the Touring Hotel was an ideal base to explore the city. The staff at Hotel Touring are very helpful and friendly, from initial booking (thanks Elena) and throughout our stay. They always welcomed you with a smile and 'bonjourno', right through to the night porter who served us late night...
This is a lovely hotel in a quiet road very near all the sights and life of central Bologna. It is easy to get to and in walking distance of all the central sights and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Positives - lovely building in great location. 5 mins easy walk to piazza maggiore and loads of nice restaurants near by. Staff were pleasant especially the man who did breakfast - he was very friendly. Nice balcony with good views. Negatives - Room was small. Room cleaning was good but only one cup first day and one carton of milk the second day ! Also no iron and board in the room - we had to go down to the cellar room and do our ironing there, at a time convenient to the hotel. We have never known a hotel refuse to provide this in the room ! Beautiful roof terrace but very limited access due to it being reserved for private events for the three nights we stayed as well as all day on the Sunday. This was the main reason I booked this hotel as there were so many positive comments about it and it was really disappointing that we couldn't use it. It was also disappointing to find cigarette butts all over our balcony where guests on the roof were throwing their butts down and onto our table and chairs. Also guests on roof were very noisy and we had to speak to reception another this. Breakfast was limited - lots of cake and bread and no decent fresh fruit - tinned peaches and prunes and a bowl of apples. This isn't a cheap hotel and although the location was good, the value for what we paid wasn't. We will definitely go back to Bologna - it's a fab place but we would stay here again.
Mi sono piaciuti: We stayed for a long weekend at the hotel and we liked absolutely everything. The staff at the hotel is very attentive, helpful and nice. Our special thanks to the staff. The hotel itself is a real gem - hidden in a small street from city noise, but at the same time it's two steps from main city attractions - San Domenico and San Petronio. There are excellent restaurants close to the hotel (all these were recommended by the hotel staff). Lunamare is highly recommended for fresh fish and seafood, as well as Poeti and trattoria Santa. Our room (renovated, on the upper floor) was very spacious and clean. It was very quiet, with the windows overlooking beautiful roofs. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Good breakfast with excellent capuccino and espresso. And there is a roof terrace. So you can enjoy fantastic sunsets with a glass of pignoletto. Highly recommended!
We had a great stay away at hotel touring, the room was clean and bright. It was not the largest, however, very clever storage layouts meant this was not a problem and the bathroom was a good size and very modern. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly , welcoming and very helpful. As...
We've stayed in the hotel for three nights and were pleasantly surprised by everything, starting from perfect position of the hotel (it's situated two steps from San Domenico Monastery and San Petronio, but at the same time it's hidden from the street noise in a small street). The staff is really welcoming, eager to help with all the requests. We...
Ottimo
Mi sono piaciuti: Hôtel très calme, confortable et proche du centre-ville. Superbe terrasse panoramique sur le toit.
