We planned to base in Bologna for three days while driving around the area, but could not bring ourselves to...
My first time in Italy, beautiful hotel, great location. No major noise from the road. Helpful staff, spotlessly clean, lots of towels. Basic breakfast. Comfy beds with lots of extra bedding supplied. We had a great 2 nights there. Roof top terrace is a must.. Felt i could return as a solo traveller, very welcoming.
Booked after reading reviews on here and it met expectations. We didn't upgrade (and our room overlooking an inner courtyard was a little dark/gloomy) but we didn't mind as any free time relaxing was spent on the rooftop terrace. A perfect place to sit with a glass of prosecco watching the sun go down! Great location. Rooms good/clean. Staff all...

Whenever we are in Italy (at least once a year) we try to visit Bologna - partly because it is a wonderful city, and partly so we can visit our favourite hotel, the Hotel Touring. This time it was a flying business trip, so we only spent one night there, but as usual the staff were very friendly and helpful....
Stayed at Hotel Touring for 2 nights to explore the delights of Bologna. This is a very nice hotel with lovely decor, friendly and helpful staff and only a short stroll to the main sites. We stayed in room 440 which had a double balcony...Più
Staff friendly, but very efficient. Room recently renovated, we stayed in the Japan room. Breakfast was wonderful, local items like Parmaggiano Regiano, local Parma salami, Ricotta cheese, but also fruits, breads, cakes, cold meats, tomatoes, etc! Kept us going all day, well, with the occasional Gelato! Amazing balcony on fifth floor, didn't understand why more guests weren't using it. Views...
Lovely hotel, ideally situated. Only stayed one night, but will return to this hotel, to see more of Bologna. Very helpful staff, particularly (Georgia) at reception. Very clean well kept hotel. Will look forward to dining, on the wonderful roof terrace, on our next visit.
