We enjoyed a great experience at the touring hotel. We will definitely return in the future. The service was very hospitable and we felt very welcomed and attended to. The room was larger than other hotels we stayed at during our long Europe vacation. The size of the bathroom was more than adequate for three adults. They served us wine and good snacks on the top floor which is a terrace with lovely views of the city. Their breakfast is wonderful and includes everything that we could hope for. The location is great since we were able to walk everywhere and see the sights and shop. The hotel is a short 10 minute taxi ride which cost 10 euro. They are still remodeling the hotel but the noise was barely noticeable. They seem to work in the daytime when we were out sightseeing anyway. The hotel is beautiful inside and has several sitting areas throughout.
Next time we are in Bologna this is the place we'll stay! It's large enough to provide privacy to its guests (unlike some very small hotels or B&Bs where you feel like you must fit into a family), but small enough to also provide plenty of individual service. It's a great hotel in a great location. The staff are extremely helpful and resourceful, the public areas are welcoming and attractive, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean and roomy. The bedroom felt a little small after our weeklong stay, but not unusually so for the typical Italian hotel room. We were very happy with our hotel choice.
I was delighted with my stay in Hotel Touring Bologna. It is an excellent hotel. It is family run and the staff were at all times very helpful and friendly. My departure from Bologna was delayed by two days due to volcanic ash but as I was accommodated in Hotel Touring this was no real hardship.

Mi sono piaciuti: One is greeted almost as if one were a family member. Nothing is impossible and most requests are looked after immediately, simply and efficiently, and in the most friendly fashion. One walks in with a smile which lasts until one walks out again. When in Bologna, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The location is perfect, quiet but within easy walking to virtually everywhere, the whole staff is very friendly, the facilities are new, well maintained, sparkling clean and very comfortable, the breakfast is ample and delicious, the terrace is gorgeous with a marvellous view over the rooftops. To be recommended with no hesitation.

Friendly hotel close to the historic centre
Really friendly staff with good recommendations for restaurants, etc. Very relaxed atmosphere.Mi sono piaciuti: The staff were uniformly helpful and cheerful.
Non mi sono piaciuti: Not a lot.............perhaps some bits of refurb at some time. But all very good.[extra]Close to the centre with plenty of place s to chill out[/extra]
