we walked from the central rail station to the hotel but found a bus that took us back there a few yards from the hotel. the hotel is very nice, good breakfast and lovely helpful staff. It is in a good location in the city easy for walking around the shops, sights and has plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Gradevole scoperta nel centro storico:appartato e silenzioso hotel con personale gentilissimo, una sorprendente terrazza sui tetti e un lusso discreto.
Hotel staff very helpful.

Could not fault the hotel although we did Upgrade our room to a refurbished one at a cost of 100 euros. But great location to the city centre and Reasonable restaurants close by the area was nice and quiet.

Quiet hotel, but close to everything!
When we arrived, was surprised how the hotel was tucked away- the room was small but very clean and all just redecorated too. The bed was comfy and very quiet- great! The tea/ coffee making facilities also very useful! Breakfast was also very good- a nice selection and self- service buffet. The staff were polite and helpful and the centre of Bologna was only a 10 minute walk away. Mi sono piaciuti: Cleanliness, quiet location, good breakfast and close to centre.
Non mi sono piaciuti: Disappointed that when booked informed all taxes included, but on leaving we were charged the city tax. That said, it was only €16 for 4 nights.[extra]Grea visit to towers, Neptune’s fountain, The Bologna University autopsy rooms, a fabulous walking tour (Do buy a 48/72 hr city pass, with bus tour!)[/extra]
